These boss enemies are unlike the boss enemies in the sequel Firehawk. In Firehawk, the boss enemies were fairly unique creatures (see the picture to the right of the Firehawk stage 2 boss). In the original Thexder, Uesaka and Godai, combined many smaller creatures into one large boss. There were four such bosses in the original Thexder. Level 4   Level 8   Level 12   Level 16
